Σε 2 ημέρες φτάνει η ώρα της απονομής, και κάπως έτσι συνειδητοποιώ πως η περίοδος των Marie Claire Blog Awards 2016 ήταν μία από τις καλύτερες εμπειρίες που έχω περάσει ως blogger. Όχι μόνο γνώρισα καινούρια άτομα με τα οποία μοιραζόμαστε το ίδιο πάθος - το blogging, αλλά είχα την ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχω σε κάποια ομαδικά challenges στα οποία πέρασα πραγματικά τέλεια!
Ένα από αυτά, ήταν και η φωτογράφηση σε συνεργασία με την L'Oréal, ένα challenge ειδικά για την κατηγορία μου, "Best Beauty Blog". Τη Δευτέρα που μας πέρασε, συναντήθηκα με τις υπόλοιπες υποψήφιες της κατηγορίας στο studio του Marie Claire, και αφεθήκαμε στα χέρια των ειδικών της L'Oréal, Δημήτρη Σταματίου και Βασίλη Στρατηγού.
Η αποστολή μας, απλή: Έπρεπε να επιλέξουμε το στυλ που θα υιοθετούσαμε για τη φωτογράφηση, το οποίο θα ήταν εμπνευσμένο είτε από κάποιο trend, είτε από κάποιο style icon ή star. Εγώ, διάλεξα ένα look εμπνευσμένο από την Dita Von Teese, το απόλυτο σύγχρονο vintage icon. Για τα μαλλιά, ο Βασίλης Στρατηγός επέλεξε προϊόντα της σειράς Studio Pro της L'Oréal για να μου δημιουργήσει τις τέλειες μπούκλες, ενώ όσον αφορά το μακιγιάζ, ο Δημήτρης Σταματίου δημιούργησε πάνω μου ένα κλασσικό look με κόκκινο κραγιόν και eyeliner, επιμένοντας στο contouring. Το αποτέλεσμα, μπορείς να το δεις και μόνη σου στις φωτογραφίες!

The day of the awarding ceremony is approaching and just like that, I come to realise that the Marie Claire Blog Awards 2016 period was one of the best things I've experienced as a blogger. Not only I met new people with whom I share the same passion - blogging, but I also had the chance of joining some very fun team challenges!
One of them was the photoshoot in collaboration with L'Oréal, a challenge especially planned for us, beauty bloggers. Last Monday, I met with the other girls of the category at the studio of Marie Claire, where we were left in the hands of the specialists of L'Oréal, makeup artist Dimitris Stamatiou and hairstylist Vassilis Stratigos.
The mission was simple: We had to choose a look inspired by a trend, a style icon or a star, with which we'd get photographed. I chose Dita Von Teese's look, as she's the ultimate modern vintage icon. For my hair, Vassilis Stratigos relied on the Studio Pro products to create the perfect curls, while for the makeup, Dimitris Stamatiou did my favourite cat-eye & red lipstick look, focusing a lot on contouring. The result was just amazing - I truly felt like a star!
